What inspections are required to fly IFR?

To fly IFR you need a current pitot-static system and altimeter check completed within the preceding 24 calendar months, and a transponder check completed within the preceding 24 calendar months.

If you will use VOR equipment for IFR navigation, you also need a VOR equipment accuracy check within the preceding 30 days, with the date, place, and bearing error recorded and signed.
