These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and FlightDeck Gouge LLC ("FlightDeck Gouge," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of https://www.flightdeckgouge.com (the "Site") and the membership service described below (the "Service"). By creating an account, enrolling in a membership, or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for pilots and pilot candidates preparing for airline interviews. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
FlightDeck Gouge provides interview-preparation material for major airline pilot candidates, organized into airline-specific "packets" and related resources. Membership is offered in tiers (for example, an "All Access" tier covering every available airline and a "Single Airline" tier covering one airline of your choice). The specific tiers, what each includes, and current pricing are described on our enrollment page, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The material is prepared and curated by an experienced airline captain and is informational. It is study and preparation material only. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or career advice, and using it does not create any advisor or fiduciary relationship.
Subscription model. Memberships are recurring subscriptions. Where a tier is offered as a higher introductory charge for an initial period (for example, the first 30 days) followed by a lower recurring charge, both amounts are shown on the enrollment page before you purchase. After any introductory period, your membership automatically renews at the then-current recurring rate for your tier and billing cycle until you cancel.
Authorization to charge. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. By enrolling, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method for the introductory amount (if any) and for each renewal until you cancel. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file. If a charge fails, we may suspend or terminate access until payment is resolved.
Founding rate. The first 100 members may enroll at a "founding rate" (50% off the standard rate for their tier). The founding rate remains in effect for as long as your membership stays continuously active. If you cancel and later re-enroll, or if your membership lapses for non-payment, the founding rate no longer applies and standard pricing applies to any new enrollment. Once 100 founding seats are filled, new enrollments are at standard pricing.
Price changes. We may change standard pricing at any time. We will not raise the rate of an active founding member while their membership stays continuously active. For all other members, we will give reasonable advance notice of a price change, and the new price applies to renewals after the notice period. Your continued use after a price change takes effect is your acceptance of it.
Taxes. Prices shown may not include applicable taxes, which will be added where required.
You may cancel at any time, with no contract and no phone call required, from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and your membership then ends. Except as described in the Refund Policy below, canceling does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already charged for the current period.
7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, email us at support@flightdeckgouge.com within 7 days of your initial enrollment charge and we will refund that initial charge in full. No forms and no hoops. This guarantee applies once per customer and to your first enrollment.
"Covered or refunded" guarantee. If you enrolled to prepare for an airline whose packet is not yet live, and we are unable to publish that airline's packet before the date of your interview, you may request a refund of your enrollment. To use this guarantee, email us at support@flightdeckgouge.com before your interview date with your interview date and the airline, so we can verify and process it.
After the guarantee windows. Outside the two guarantees above, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods after cancellation. We may, at our discretion, grant refunds in individual cases (for example, a clear billing error), but doing so does not obligate us to do so in other cases.
How refunds are issued. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through Stripe. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
We do not and cannot guarantee that you will be hired, advanced, or selected by any airline. Hiring decisions belong entirely to the airline. The Service is intended to help you prepare; it does not influence or control any airline's decision. Nothing in the Service is a promise of employment or of any particular interview result.
Any compensation, pay-progression, or career-value figures shown on the Site (for example, illustrations of pilot earnings over a career) are general illustrations drawn from public industry information. They are not promises, projections, or guarantees of any individual's earnings or career outcome, which depend on factors outside our control.
Airline names, hubs, and similar identifiers are used for identification and reference only. FlightDeck Gouge is independent and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline. All airline names and marks belong to their respective owners.
We work to keep the material accurate and current, and we date our packets. Even so, airline hiring processes, assessments, regulations, and aircraft-specific procedures change, and individual experiences vary. You are responsible for confirming anything you rely on against your own current and authoritative sources, including the instructions an airline sends you before your interview and your own aircraft's AFM, FCOM, or QRH and current FAA references. We do not warrant that the material is complete, error-free, or current at any given moment.
Subject to these Terms and your active membership, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the gated material for your own interview preparation.
You may not: (a) share, resell, sublicense, post, or redistribute the gated material, in whole or in part, or share your account or login with anyone else; (b) copy, scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the material or use automated means to access it; (c) use the material to build, train, or populate a competing product or dataset; or (d) remove or obscure any proprietary notices. Membership grants access, not ownership. Violating this section is grounds for immediate termination without refund.
The Site and the compiled, organized, and written material in it (including the structure, selection, and arrangement of the packets, and our text, design, and graphics) are owned by FlightDeck Gouge LLC or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license in Section 10, no rights are granted to you.
If you submit an interview debrief or other content ("Submission"), you represent that: (a) it is your own first-hand experience described in your own words; (b) it does not reproduce any airline's proprietary, copyrighted, or confidential materials, and does not include anything you were asked or required to keep confidential; and (c) you have the right to share it. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to review, edit, paraphrase, publish, and use your Submission as part of the Service. We review Submissions before publishing and may decline, edit, or remove any Submission at our discretion. Do not submit anything that would breach a non-disclosure obligation you owe to an airline or employer.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with the Service or its security, accessing material your membership does not include, or using the Service for any unlawful purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlightDeck Gouge LLC and its owners and operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost opportunities, or career or employment outcomes, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FlightDeck Gouge LLC and its owners and operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your Submissions, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
We may modify, add, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Effective date" shows when. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means (for example, a notice on the Site or by email). Your continued use after changes take effect is your acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to by law. If we terminate your account for a violation, you are not entitled to a refund. You may stop using the Service at any time by canceling under Section 4.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.
